About Tara

Tara Chandler has been a civil litigation lawyer with Murphy Battista LLP since 2017 and has focused on personal injury law since her first year of law school. She has represented clients at all levels of court in BC, handling a range of personal injury cases including brain injury and recreational and adventure sports accidents involving liability waivers. She works to find the best resolution for her clients, whether through settlement, mediation, negotiation or trial. Tara earned her LLB from Dalhousie University in 2006 and a BA with distinction from McGill University in 2002, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2007. She serves on the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and has been a committee member for the Women Lawyers Retreat since 2015.
