About Tanu
Tanu Minhas practises in all areas of family law with experience relating to matrimonial, estate, and civil disputes, appearing before the BC Provincial Court and BC Supreme Court and engaging in arbitration and mediation. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at Queen's University, where she worked as a Student Caseworker for Queen's Legal Aid, served as a Group Leader for the Clinical Litigation Practice Course, volunteered for Pro Bono Students' Canada, and was President of the Queen's Children and Youth Law Club. Prior to law school, Tanu obtained her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Victoria, studying Economics and Environmental Studies, and previously worked in the Ministry of Children and Family Development as an Adjudicator. Since being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2024, she has practised exclusively in family law and is fluent in Punjabi.
