About Tarynne
Tarynne Hoover earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia in 1996 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1997. She practiced in Port Coquitlam with Smyth & Company (later Smyth Hoover Sandhu) starting in 1999 before joining Drysdale Bacon McStravick LLP in Coquitlam in July 2021. Her focus since 1997 has been family law, including persons in marriage-like relationships and same-sex spouses; she negotiates or mediates disputes and litigates in the Supreme and Provincial Courts, including the Court of Appeal, and has given community seminars on family law.
