About Tait

Tait Copeland joined DWF's Calgary office in 2025 after previously articling and practising at a national Indigenous law firm based in Calgary with matters across Saskatchewan. He earned his J.D. from the University of Alberta and volunteered with Student Legal Services during his studies. Before law school, Tait completed a Bachelor of Arts in History at Acadia University, focusing on Medieval Studies and mid-twentieth-century American social movements. His practice covers commercial litigation, Aboriginal law and trust law. Tait was called to the Alberta bar in 2024.
