About Sydney
Sydney is from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, and completed her undergraduate degree at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, graduating as class valedictorian in 2017 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in political science. She attended the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where she chaired the Canadian Bar Association Nova Scotia Branch's Student Section and received a Schulich Scholarship, Clifford Rae Achievement Awards, and the 2020 Nova Scotia Barristers' Society Presidents' Leadership Award. Sydney chairs the Family Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association's Nova Scotia Branch and is a part-time instructor at the Schulich School of Law, teaching Civil Procedure workshops. She has appeared in all levels of court in Nova Scotia and was called to the bar in 2021.
