About Susan

Susan earned a BA with first class standing from Lakehead University in 1999 and her LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2002. She articled at Bell Temple in Toronto, learning insurance defence litigation, and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2003, continuing her insurance defence practice there with a focus on accident benefits. She returned to Thunder Bay in 2004 with her husband, Edward Kim, and together they founded FRASCA KIM Lawyers. Her practice is now focused on helping injured clients across Ontario obtain compensation from insurance companies. She has been an adjunct professor at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, teaching a Business of Law course, and belongs to the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Advocates' Society, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and the Thunder Bay Law Association.
