About Kathleen

Kathleen (Kate) Kreps was born and raised in Thunder Bay. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English, First Class Standing, from Lakehead University in 2008, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law in 2012, then returned home to article and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2013. For ten years before joining Petrone & Partners, she practised at a local firm in insurance-related claims and institutional defence. She now practises in all areas of civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance-related claims, personal injury litigation, and estate matters, and has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario. She has served as a Director and Executive member of the Thunder Bay Law Association and on the Young Advocates' Standing Committee of the Advocates' Society.
