About Susan

Susan is the senior associate in the family law group at Prowse Barrette LLP, with over a decade of experience focused on deescalating conflict to help clients resolve family law disputes. She is Cree, Metis, and English, and brings trauma-informed practices to her work so clients feel seen and heard through relationship breakdown and the transition to co-parenting. She has represented children through the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate and advocates for parents navigating the child welfare system, and also has experience in civil litigation and Indigenous rights and lawmaking.
