About J.

Cameron is a senior partner at Prowse Barrette LLP with a litigation practice covering intellectual property issues, shareholder and partnership disputes, business torts, and contractual disputes, and he provides litigation-avoidance advice on business transactions. His advocacy career spans more than four decades, with appearances before the Court of King's Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and various regulatory and professional disciplinary tribunals, including the Nuclear Safety Commission. He taught the litigation portion of the bar admission course for several years and is a long-time member of the Canadian Bar Association's litigation section. He is also a registered patent agent and has completed advanced negotiation training at Harvard Law School.
