About Jane
Jane is a litigation lawyer at Prowse Barrette LLP with trial experience before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Alberta Court of King's Bench. She earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of York in the United Kingdom and completed a Master of Laws at McGill University. She prioritizes negotiation and other alternative dispute resolution options while remaining a strong courtroom advocate when litigation is required, and she is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, with whom she has co-presented on the use of streamlined trials in Alberta. She also regularly volunteers with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, providing pro bono legal assistance to people with limited means.
