About Norman
Norman Bishop, appointed Queen's Counsel in 2009, is counsel at Bishop & McKenzie in Edmonton. His practice emphasizes commercial transactions, financial regulatory work, commercial leasing, film and television, and software and technology licensing. He is a member of the bar in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario, and is a registered trademark agent. Norman holds a BA and a law degree from the University of Alberta and was called to the Alberta Bar in 1981. He has served on the boards of the Art Gallery of Alberta, Government House, and Edmonton's Northern Light Theatre.
