About Surina

Surina Sud is a partner at Kostyniuk & Greenside Lawyers, focusing on insurance defence litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, contract disputes, fraud, and coverage claims, and also advising on employment and human rights law. In 2015 she founded The Asylum Project, a pro bono initiative in the United Kingdom that continues to operate through her law school university. She serves on the Board of the Toronto Lawyers Association and represents it on the Roundtable of Legal Diversity Associations, and is a frequent speaker on legal education topics. In 2026 she received the Canadian Defence Lawyers' Richard B. Lindsay Exceptional Young Lawyer Award.
