About Sunaina

Sunaina Singh was born and raised in Edmonton and completed her Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, where she chaired marketing for the Society of Law Students, served as president of the South Asian Law Students Association and took part in the university's Community Legal Clinic. She has practiced family law exclusively since being called to the bar in 2023, favouring alternative dispute resolution ahead of court where possible while remaining ready to litigate when necessary. She has appeared in both the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King's Bench. Fluent in Punjabi, she has represented non-English-speaking clients in mediation, arbitration and formal litigation.
