About Michael
Michael Loberg practices commercial litigation and dispute resolution, insolvency, and restructuring at Loberg Ector LLP, where he serves as managing partner. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1999, admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in the Cayman Islands in 2006, and became a Solicitor of the High Court of England and Wales in 2008, though he practices only in Alberta. Michael is a founder of and serves as General Counsel to the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights and was co-counsel in the CCFR's federal court challenge to Canada's 2020 firearms ban. He holds a Diploma in International Trust Management and related certificates from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, is a licensed mortgage broker in British Columbia, and has completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course. Outside the firm, he has pursued graduate-level philosophy studies at the University of Calgary and business coursework through the University of London's international MBA program.
