About Esther
Esther Chung is associate counsel at Simpson, Thomas & Associates, focusing primarily on ICBC personal injury law since joining the firm in 2016, after eight years practising corporate commercial and real estate law and operating her own firm serving Vancouver's Korean community. She draws on her multidisciplinary background to assess her clients' losses from multiple angles, and is broadening her practice again to include family law, insurance denials, and estate litigation. Esther immigrated to Canada from South Korea at age 7 and remains active with Korean community non-profit organizations. She was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2009, holds an LLB from the University of Manitoba (2008) and a Bachelor of Arts from UBC (2004), and is fluent in Korean.
