About Hailey

Hailey Schnier is a senior associate at Torys whose practice focuses on corporate and regulatory matters affecting financial institutions. She advises clients on bank and insurance regulation, as well as compliance with Canada's anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing and economic sanctions legislation. Hailey also advises financial institutions and retail clients on their consumer protection obligations. She previously served as the firm's Director of Legal Learning, overseeing the design and delivery of professional development and continuing legal education programming for lawyers across Torys' offices. Hailey chairs the firm's Jewish Professionals Employee Resource Group. She mentors underprivileged youth through the Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) program, where she has also served as Summer Jobs Program Coordinator, and has led charitable initiatives supporting the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation and the Israel Cancer Research Fund.
