About Stephen
Stephen joined McTague Law Firm as a partner in January 2010. He represents employers exclusively in workplace safety and insurance, human rights, disability management, and occupational health and safety matters, appearing regularly at WSIB and WSIAT appeal hearings and other administrative tribunals. He is one of only eight professionals in Ontario certified as a Specialist in Workplace Safety and Insurance Law by the Law Society of Ontario. He earned a BA in economics from the University of Windsor in 1977 and his LL.B. there in 1980, and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 1982. Stephen has been named to The Best Lawyers in Canada for workers' compensation law since 2017 and received the Ontario Bar Association's Ron Ellis Award in Workers' Compensation Law in 2017.
