About Alexander
Alexander joined McTague Law Firm in 1970 and became a partner in 1974, later chairing the partnership until his retirement from the partnership in 2009; he remains active with the firm as senior counsel in the litigation department. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1967 and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 1969. His practice covers civil litigation, insurance law, municipal defence, personal injury claims, professional malpractice defence for lawyers, dentists and engineers, products liability, and school board defence. Queen Elizabeth II granted him the designation of Queen's Counsel in 1983. He has lectured at the University of Windsor's bar admission course and was recognized in 2006 by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and in 2010 by Martindale-Hubbell with an AV Preeminent peer-review rating.
