About Stacey

Stacey Williams joined the litigation group at Scott Petrie LLP as an associate in May 2024, with a practice dedicated to commercial litigation, construction litigation and professional negligence defence. Stacey Williams holds preferred counsel status with LawPRO and assists individuals and businesses in resolving legal issues and business disputes through litigation or alternative dispute resolution. Before joining the firm, Stacey Williams practised both plaintiff and insurance defence litigation, and obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2019 after studying law internationally in the United States and Japan. Stacey Williams earned a B.A. (Honours, with distinction) in criminology from King's University College at Western University in 2016, receiving the four-year Gerald Killan Regis Entrance Scholarship for the highest admissions average, and later obtained a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Toronto in 2018. Stacey Williams belongs to the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Middlesex Law Association and The Advocates' Society.
