About Virginia

Virginia Dolinska is a criminal defence lawyer who earned a J.D. from the University of Ottawa and articled under Richard Aitken before joining Aitken Robertson in 2016. Virginia was called to the Ontario bar in 2017 and now oversees the firm's day-to-day operations across its offices in Kingston, Belleville and Ottawa on a full-time basis. Before law school, Virginia completed an honours Bachelor of Social Science with a double major in criminology and history, having immigrated to Canada from Eastern Europe as a child — an experience that shapes support for clients facing their own difficult circumstances. The practice is restricted exclusively to criminal law, representing individuals charged with a full range of criminal offences across Ontario. Virginia is a sole practitioner licensed by the Law Society of Ontario and practises under an affiliation arrangement with Aitken Robertson Professional Corporation.
