About Sophie
Sophie Ryder is an associate lawyer at Davidson Houle Allen LLP. During law school she was an active member of the Student Disability Club, working to make law school more inclusive, and served as a peer mentor to junior students; she remains a member of the ARCH Disability Law Centre. Before being called to the bar, she articled at Nelligan Law, a full-service Ottawa firm. She holds an Honours B.A. in Social Equity and Women/Gender Studies from the University of Toronto (2017) and a J.D. from the University of Windsor (2023), and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024.
