About Emily

Emily Deng is an associate lawyer at Davidson Houle Allen LLP. She was a Caseworker and Division Leader at the University of Ottawa's Community Legal Clinic during law school and an executive member of the uOttawa chapter of #LawNeedsFeminismBecause. Before being called to the bar, she articled at a boutique employment and labour litigation firm in Ottawa. She holds a BSc in Biology with Honours and a minor in French Studies from the University of Waterloo (2014) and a J.D. from the University of Ottawa (2018), and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019.
