Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionJames (Jim) Davidson is a founding partner of Davidson Houle Allen LLP, and has practised condominium law for more than 40 years. He represents condominium corporations, their directors, owners and insurers throughout Eastern Ontario, and his experience also covers building deficiencies, shared property interests, co-ownership and construction law. He is an associate (ACCI) and fellow (FCCI) of the Canadian Condominium Institute, and lectured on condominium law at Ottawa's Bar Admission Course for over a decade. In 2013 he received the Ron Danks National Volunteer Leadership Award from CCI National for his work editing the quarterly publication Condo Cases Across Canada. He earned his LL.B. from Queen's University in 1982, following a Bachelor of Arts also from Queen's, and later completed an ADR Certificate of Achievement at the University of Windsor.
