About Sonia
Sonia Somal grew up in Surrey, BC and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at Simon Fraser University before attending law school at Thompson Rivers University, where she was a student clinician at the Community Legal Clinic. She completed her articles at Stern Shapray Criminal Lawyers before starting her practice with the firm. Her practice focuses on defending adults and youths against Criminal Code and Motor Vehicle Act charges, including assault, drug trafficking, and driving offences. She is fluent in Punjabi.
