About Simran

Simran Bakshi works as a lawyer and workplace investigator with expertise in diversity, equity and inclusion, trauma-informed practice, and plain language communication. She began her career as a litigator practicing employment and human rights law before shifting her focus to workplace investigations and training. Simran holds a Juris Doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School, completed in 2013, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University. She also completed the Anti-Discrimination Intensive Program at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre in 2012 and Workplace Investigation Basics Training through the Association of Workplace Investigators in 2023. She is a certified investigator listed on the Registry of Investigators for Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention.
