Simon Pelsmakher is the founding lawyer of Pelsmakher Law, an employment and labour law practice serving both employees and employers across Canada. Pelsmakher advises on wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, severance, executive compensation, pension and benefits, human rights, competition law, privacy law and other workplace disputes, and has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Financial Services Tribunal and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal. Before founding the firm, Pelsmakher served as Director, Senior Legal Counsel at a major multinational retail and e-commerce corporation, directing hiring and termination decisions for thousands of workers alongside the organization's HR leadership.
