About Shruti
Shruti Ajitsaria leads Fuse, A&O Shearman's tech innovation space, which she launched in 2017 to connect the firm's lawyers and clients with LegalTech and FinTech companies; it has now worked with more than sixty firms and is the sole entry in its category in the Chambers and Partners guide. Before creating Fuse, she spent a decade specializing in credit derivatives, drafting much of the standard documentation used in that field, and became the first person at the firm promoted directly to partner within its Advanced Delivery & Solutions Group. She has received numerous recognitions for her work in technology, including an Asian Tech Pioneer Award in 2024. She qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2004.
