About Dennis

Dennis J.E. Daoust is counsel at Daoust Vukovich LLP, the firm he co-founded in 1995. Called to the bar in 1974, he has focused on commercial leasing, development law, and construction law since 1978, with recognized expertise in telecommunications and access agreements. He has handled large and complex leasing transactions across Canada and the U.S. and has been qualified in court as an expert on commercial landlord and tenant law. Earlier in his career he served as legal counsel and later Vice-President and General Counsel of Cadillac Fairview Shopping Centres in Canada, later taking on responsibility for the company's U.S. shopping centres. He has written and lectured widely on leasing and related topics and is listed among the most frequently recommended practitioners in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
