Bilal Ahmad is a partner who advises on debt capital markets and sukuk transactions for issuers in emerging markets, working on both Regulation S and Rule 144A offerings. That practice also covers convertible securities, hybrid and regulatory capital instruments, liability management deals, and securitizations. Based in Dubai, Bilal focuses on finance, Islamic finance, and capital markets work for banks and financial institutions. Bilal qualified as a solicitor in New South Wales in 2002 and later in England and Wales in 2007, and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business in Finance from the University of Technology, Sydney.
