About Shikha

Shikha Shukla is an Associate and Program Director of the Foot in the Door Initiative (FIDI) at Osuji & Smith, practising employment, immigration, family, civil, contracts, and business and corporate law, as well as personal injury law. Shikha spent 18 years in Lagos, Nigeria before completing an integrated business administration and law degree at Christ University's School of Law in India in 2019, gaining litigation experience at the Supreme Court of India in New Delhi, and later an LL.M. at the University of Calgary in 2023. Shikha represents clients before Alberta courts and the Refugee Protection Division, has closed business sales exceeding one million dollars, and co-founded FIDI, which has supported over 100 legal professionals in Canada. Shikha has written for The Globe and Mail and appeared on CBC Radio One discussing employment law.
