About Shenaz

Shenaz Mohammed practises corporate law with a focus on trademarks, advising large companies, small and medium businesses and entrepreneurs on incorporation, leases, intellectual property and trademark compliance. She has built a niche working with brands on social media, facilitating influencer and sponsorship agreements, and has broad experience with contracts, shareholder agreements, letters of intent and marketing legislation including PIPEDA and the Competition Act. A Toronto native, Shenaz Mohammed previously co-founded and served as director of operations for a Toronto-based luxury menswear brand, and trained at a large full-service Toronto law firm. She holds a law degree from the University of London, England, with a double major in psychology and sociology. She sits on the board of The Fashion Group International, serves as a brand advisor with Ryerson University's Digital Media Zone, and is an active ambassador against human trafficking with the Freethem movement.
