About Philippe

Philippe Brouillette is a lawyer, engineer, and patent and trademark agent at Brouillette Légal. He holds an LL.B. from Université de Sherbrooke and a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal, and was called to the Quebec bar in 2009. Before practising law he founded companies in personalized software development and online services. He joined Brouillette in 2010 and became a partner in 2017, assisting SMEs and start-ups with intellectual property strategy, patent and trademark applications, industrial designs and business law matters. He belongs to the Quebec Bar, the Young Bar Association of Montreal, the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, and intellectual property organizations including IPIC and CABAMC.
