About Shawn
Shawn Sipma has more than 20 years of civil litigation experience at KMSC Law LLP, focused on personal injury work following motor vehicle accidents and other injuries in Alberta and the Yukon. Before joining KMSC, his practice centred on insurance defence work involving personal injury and coverage disputes, giving him insight into how insurers investigate and resolve claims that he now applies on behalf of injured clients. Shawn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1997 and a Bachelor of Laws in 2000, both from the University of Alberta, and has been a member of the Law Society of Alberta since 2001 and the Law Society of Yukon since 2015. He is a long-standing member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association and volunteers regularly with the Edmonton Food Bank.
