About Amy
Amy K. Murphy is the founder of Murphy Law and has practiced law in northern Alberta for more than two decades. Raised on a grain farm outside Peace River, she remains closely connected to the region's agricultural and rural communities. She began her career with large firms in downtown Calgary focused on oil and gas matters before returning to the Peace Region, where she has since built a practice centred on real estate, including homes, farmland transfers and commercial properties, and corporate and business law. She has more recently expanded her practice to include farmland tender transactions. Amy regularly attends continuing legal education seminars through the Legal Education Society of Alberta and has served on several community boards, including a chamber of commerce, constituency associations, and health foundations. She also farms with her husband in the Fairview area.
