About Shashini

Shashini brings more than a decade of legal experience across multiple jurisdictions to her immigration practice at Mobility Law. She started at the firm as an immigration law clerk before completing Canada's lawyer licensing process, and now handles temporary and permanent residence applications along with complex personal and corporate immigration files. Before moving to Canada, she practiced as an attorney-at-law before the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka and lectured on tort, corporate, and intellectual property law at two Sri Lankan universities. She holds a Master of Laws from the University of West London, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Colombo, and a master's degree in Human Rights and Democratisation, also from Colombo. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2025 after obtaining her NCA Certificate of Qualification, and remains admitted in Sri Lanka. She speaks English, Sinhalese, French, and Hindi.
