About Peter
Peter Rekai is a Senior Lawyer and a certified Specialist in Immigration Law with the Law Society of Ontario. As a senior partner at Mobility Law, a Toronto firm that has focused exclusively on immigration for more than 35 years, he has spent over 30 years helping employers and industry groups bring qualified individuals into Canada. He has lectured at legal, academic, and government forums on immigration policy, appeared before the Parliamentary Committee on Citizenship and Immigration, and authored a study on Canada-US border issues for the CD Howe Institute. Peter is regularly quoted in the media on immigration matters, and both Lexpert and Who's Who Legal recognize him in the field of business immigration. He earned his BA from the University of Toronto in 1976 and his JD from Queen's University in 1980, and he speaks English and working French.
