Sharon White chairs Richards Buell Sutton's Real Estate Development Group and co-leads its Real Estate Practice Group, advising a diverse client base on matters of strategic and economic importance, including commercial real estate, business acquisitions, financing, and multi-party projects. Her practice emphasizes the creation of sustainable neighbourhoods and communities, from acquisitions and structuring to long-term leasing, financing, and development of major multi-use projects. She holds an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia (1980) and a Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration from the same university (1979), completed the Canadian Securities Course with Honours (1988), and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1981 and Bermuda in 2000. She was appointed King's Counsel in 2011, recognized by Chambers and Partners as one of the top real estate lawyers in B.C., named to Best Lawyers for Real Estate Law (2018-2026) and Corporate Law (2026), and named one of British Columbia's Most Influential Women by BC Business Magazine in 2015.
