About Shantale
Shantale M. L. D'Aoust is a family lawyer in Spectrum Family Law's Edmonton office. Born and raised in Ontario, she completed her common law degree entirely in French at the Universite de Moncton in New Brunswick, where she coordinated the Pro Bono Students Canada Family Law Program. She articled in St. Albert and was called to the Bar of Alberta in September 2021. D'Aoust's earlier litigation experience spanned general civil litigation, personal injury, and criminal defence before she moved into family law, where her practice now incorporates negotiation and alternative dispute resolution. She previously worked in internal audit and evaluation at the National Research Council of Canada, and practises in both French and English.
