About Yefim
Yefim Belyavsky studied psychology at Carleton University, where he received an academic award and made the Dean's List, and later completed a graduate certificate in financial planning at Humber College with honours. He earned his law degree at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University and was called to the Ontario bar in 2025. During a placement at Justice for Children and Youth he worked across several areas of law serving young people exclusively, which sharpened his communication skills and his ability to advocate for vulnerable clients. He has also given back to the school as an academic assistant for a business law course and as a judge for a student case competition. At Diamond & Diamond his practice centres on personal injury litigation, an area he was drawn to because it combines civil litigation with real support for people going through difficult times.
