About Shannon

Shannon is a partner at Myers LLP in the labour department, where she assists unions and associations with grievance arbitration, labour board proceedings, mediations, and interest arbitrations. She advises on collective agreement interpretation, employment legislation, workplace safety, human rights, and pension law, and has appeared before arbitrators, the Manitoba Labour Board, the Court of King's Bench, and the Manitoba Court of Appeal. Shannon was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2005 and previously taught the Labour Law course in the University of Manitoba's Labour Studies Program. She has served as Vice President for Manitoba on the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and on the executive of the Canadian Bar Association's Labour and Employment Section.
