About Sean

Sean A. Lewis is an associate at Sullivan Mahoney LLP who joined the firm in 2020 after completing his articles at a civil litigation firm in Ottawa. As part of the firm's Civil Litigation and Advocacy and Employment and Labour Law groups, he handles employment, human rights, and litigation-related matters for clients. While at the University of Ottawa's law school, Sean focused his studies on litigation courses and trial advocacy, and during his final year he worked at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada providing legal and policy advice. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 2012 and a Master of Arts in 2014 from Brock University, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2018, and was admitted to the Law Society of Ontario in 2019. Sean calls the Niagara Region home and enjoys reading philosophy, playing guitar, and staying active outside of work.
