About Savana
Savana graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2024, where she was a member of the Indigenous Law Students' Association and volunteered with Student Legal Services. She also holds a legal assistant diploma from Red Deer Polytechnic. Before law school she worked as a paralegal in family law and intellectual property practices, then joined Alberta Justice and Solicitor General as a Clerk for the Court of King's Bench before moving to the Resolution Services Office to assist self-represented litigants. She was called to the Bar in September 2025 after articling with Donna Purcell QC Law and joined the firm as an Associate. She is a member of the Indigenous Bar Association.
