About Virgil

The Honourable Virgil P. Moshansky, C.M., K.C., LL.B., serves as Legal Counsel at Litco Law. He sat on the Court of King's Bench of Alberta for 28 years and served three terms as mayor of Vegreville, Alberta. He headed the Dryden Commission investigating the 1989 Air Ontario Flight 1363 crash, whose findings led to changes in Canadian aircraft de-icing procedures and earned him the Transport Canada Aviation Safety Award, and he was made a Member of the Order of Canada in 2005.
