About Sarah
Sarah Jacob is the President and Senior Practitioner at SMM Law Professional Corporation, a role she has held since 2004. She earned a BA in English and Religious Studies from the University of St. Michael's College and her LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. After practising in Thunder Bay and Toronto, she joined Ron Mitchell at Stewart, Mitchell & Macklin in Cobourg in 2001 and became Managing Partner in 2003. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, estate planning and administration, and real estate. Jacob has a history of advocacy for women, low-income families, and the homeless, and serves as a board member for the Art Gallery of Northumberland and the Northumberland Supportive Non-Profit Housing Corporation.
