About Sara

Sara Reid is the founding partner of REID Legal, a boutique commercial real estate firm she launched in downtown Montreal after more than a decade of practice at national firms. She advises corporations, institutional investors, real estate funds, REITs, developers and private asset managers on commercial real estate and leasing transactions. Before founding REID Legal she was a partner at Fasken LLP and had practised at Dentons LLP and Heenan Blaikie LLP, advising on real estate capital markets deals, and she has chaired the Canadian Bar Association's National Real Property Law Section. She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada, the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and Chambers for commercial leasing and real estate work. Reid holds an LL.L. (summa cum laude) from the University of Ottawa (2010) and was called to the Quebec bar in 2012.
