About Sandeep

Dhir is a partner at SB LLP and leads the firm's Litigation team, joining the firm in 2020 after nearly two decades of litigation experience. Dhir acts as counsel to lending institutions, banks, trustees, receivers, and condominium corporations in commercial disputes, collections, security enforcement, bankruptcy and insolvency matters, and foreclosures, and also practises in Metis and First Nations law. In 2010, Dhir appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada on behalf of a Metis Settlement. Dhir co-authored a Carswell textbook on collections law, teaches bar admission courses, and has been named a Litigation Star annually since 2013. Dhir was conferred Queen's Counsel in 2016 and speaks Punjabi and Hindi fluently, with functional Gujarati.
