Shourie is a co-founding partner at SB LLP with more than 28 years of international legal practice, having practised in New Delhi before relocating to Edmonton. Shourie leads the firm's Commercial team, working in commercial and corporate law and collaborative business law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and matters for financial institutions including banking and private equity. Shourie was enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 1995 and called to the Alberta Bar in 2005, and holds a Master of Laws from McGill University (2001) and a Bachelor of Commerce from Punjab University in India (1992). Shourie founded the South Asian Bar Association's Edmonton Chapter, serves on the Canadian Bar Association's Diversity Committee, and has taught on real estate, construction, securitization, and business law topics.
