About Sanchia
Sanchia Thompson is an associate at DBB Law practicing family law. She earned her Bachelor of Laws with first-class honours from the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK, receiving a scholarship for academic excellence each year of her degree, and gained experience assisting senior counsel on family law cases and shadowing a UK Supreme Court justice. After law school, Sanchia moved to Calgary and completed the University of Calgary's Foreign-Trained Lawyers Program in 2022, having worked as a legal assistant before and during the program. She volunteers with Calgary Legal Guidance's Family Law Advice Clinic, Pro Bono Law Alberta, and the Canadian Immigrant Women's Association.
