About Samuel
Samuel Tyler is an associate at Monkhouse Law holding a JD and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Trent University, where he won the Bruce Barrett Memorial Prize for academic achievement in Philosophy. He earned his JD from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025. During school he completed a five-month full-time placement at the Ontario Court of Justice, assisting judges with legal research and draft decisions, and he did both his summer and articling terms at Cavalluzzo LLP, working on employment law, class actions, labour law, human rights, and Charter litigation matters. His interest in workers' rights began with his involvement in a union organizing campaign for gig economy workers, and he has served as a representative witness before the Labour Board on the employment status of app-based couriers.
