About Samuel
Samuel Johnson grew up in Whitehorse, Yukon, and moved to Edmonton after high school, where he started and ran a small business. He began a Bachelor of Commerce at MacEwan University before earning early admittance to the Juris Doctor program at the University of Alberta, graduating in 2020. He started at Birdsell Grant LLP as a summer student in 2018, returned as a student-at-law after graduating, and now practises as an associate with the firm. During law school he was active in his community and in politics, including initiating a petition that was formally tabled before the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. Samuel is an avid Toronto Raptors fan and completed his first ultra-marathon, 52 kilometres, in the fall of 2021.
